I liked the old app, the simple headlines stacked in a row. But Im a dinosaur so that made sense. The new one makes sense too and feels intuitive in how I can sort the stories. Images help them pop too. Bravo for making it happen. Better late than never!

Until the recent upgrade this was painful. Now quick, and good way to catch Seattle stories.

The title is quite literally true. This app loads faster and more stably than the precious app. Plus, it doesnt reload or refresh when youre in the middle of reading an article. Much improved!

I like the older app as it had my local sports teams as well as professional. This seems to be a general aggregator.

I will terminate my trial subscription if landscape support not added. Its a deal killer.

I wrote a scathing review a few months ago because the old app was unusable. Their new upgrade is far from perfect, but at least it loads more quickly. A significant upgrade. Thanks.

The new version of the app is redesigned & fast.

Ive gone without this app for months and saw ads that it had been improved. Thats true. It works now and you can read the Seattle Times on your phone again. Still feels a few steps behind other news apps, both free and paid.

Why did the landscape view go away?

The first thing I do when I get the paper is take all the ads and put them in the recycling bin. As a subscriber Id like to do the same with the digital edition. Let me login and get rid of the ads!

Fast (VERY) and easy to use. Ads are nicely placed (out of the way, unobtrusive but still there for interests - and support of free contents - sake). Suffers a bit from not enough categorization. Nice job! [OLD APP VERSION] LTE or wi-fi, stories dont load and just sit staring at a blank screen. I usually just close it and look for other sources. Complete waste of time and an embarrassment to the devil pets that threw this slop together.

The update is so much better than before. Very fast! Still some work to do, as article organization could be improved.

With no Download For Offline View option, no portrait mode, no access to previous editions, no search, and no view of the hard copy layout, I find this a big waste of digits. I already have the paper at home, where the Wi-Fi is. I need the app for where the Wi-Fi isnt. Please go back to the drawing board.
