Seattle Times Mobile App Reviews

I have my iPad set up on my nightstand in landscape view and when the newest update came out I discovered that I could not get it to switch from portrait view, which means I have to pick it up if I want to read the Seattle Times. Not good.

The new refresh is beautiful! Thank you for giving readers the opportunity to help shape this app.

The app is okay. It still shows me ads. I am a paying subscriber and there is nowhere to login. Comments also dont show up. Kind of a pointless app.

Still isnt as good as the 5 star iPad Seattle Times app(which I love) but a big improvement over the previous app.

Huge improvement. Fast, usable.

I use a keyboard case with my iPad and without a landscape mode I will have to re-think my subscription. I have an iPhone so maybe reading it only on the iPhone will work for me. Not sure if an iPad keyboard case that allows for rotating is made, but maybe the Seattle Times is going to branch out some and into the hardware arena.

Well done on the redesign. Much improved speed, look and a better user experience. I was just about to delete the old version app and then the new version happily appeared.

The old version was not useable, this one is. Kudos.

What happened to be able to choose sub categories? Horoscopes nowhere to be found. Some stories on sports page and entertainment page unrelated. Loads faster but cant find previous sections.

Loving the new Times app. Its extremely fast and the interface is streamlined and very user friendly

The speed of this app is phenomenal!! I also especially like the layout of the editors pick section. Very clean and visually appealing. Im looking forward to seeing new features added!

Great app to get all your Seattle news in a flash. Super fast, but the best part is the Trending Topics and Editors Picks. Would like to see more Entertainment news, but other than that ... Love it!

I love the speed of the the app and the easy ability to scroll through all the headlines! I spend most of my time in the Top Stories, but also enjoy reading the Trending, as well as the specific sections for Business and Entertainment. Things that I look forward to (hopefully) seeing soon: * Search Function * Landscape view!!!! * Swipe away the big ads * Videos

Incredible improvement over the last version.

The Seattle times finally has an app to match its reporting quality.

Actually usable now. Stories load quickly. Still a ways to go to be as convenient and easy to use as the NYTimes app. Missing "Search" capability to search current articles or archive, as the NYTimes app provides.
